The package is, possibly, a little intimidating. It's a cube about eighteen inches in all dimensions of blacker-than-vantablack blackness. When touched, because the eyes are easily deceived by its bizarre failure to interact with the light, it becomes apparent that the cube is a solid, but fairly lightweight... box, really, gift-wrapped in a sheet of paper that also happens to be 100% light-absorbing darkness.
Under the paper, the box reveals itself to be made of exactly the same material, impossibly black, featureless beyond a hinged lid. A novelty in itself.
Inside, Haru will find the following: A warm, thick cowl-style scarf in a deep fuschia pink. A pair of warm winter socks, white, made from 100% soft merino wool. Protected under a glass bell, a flowering orchid.
