IC INFORMATION
Character Name: Haru Okumura
Species: Human
Canon: Persona 5
Canon Point: Persona 5 Strikers, some time after reuniting with Mariko Hyodo on 8/9, but before her election speech.
Character Age: 18
CRAU: No.
Character Appearance: Here.
Powers and Abilities:

In Persona 5, the power of a PERSONA manifests when the user awakens to their rebellious willpower, whether it's rebellion against society or someone who has done wrong to them. Haru's desire to change her corrupt, criminal father's heart and take control of her life awakens her own Persona, MILADY. This power exists specifically in the Metaverse, which Haru and the other Thieves can enter through the use of a unique app on their phones. If Haru regains her powers, this is how her power will interact in the setting:

MILADY β€” Haru's Persona primarily uses Psychokinesis and Gun-based abilities, but has support skills that can aid Haru and others. How this will work in game:

PSIODYNE: Heavy Psy damage to a small range of foes. Will function like a blast. Has the ability to potentially confuse enemies. (Making them do things like hurt others, drop money, valuables, etc.)
MAPSIODYNE: Heavy Psy damage to a wider range of foes. Will function as a wider range blast. Can also confuse enemies.
HEAT RISER: Provides a boost to attack, defense, and agility of one ally for three turns. In game this will be equivalent to a five minute boost before it wears off. Can't be used immediately on the same ally for one hour.
ONE-SHOT KILL: Severe gun damage to one foe. In game, this will be a debilitating shot rather. Hurts Haru moderately in turn to use it.
AMRITA SHOWER: Cures all allies of non-special ailments, i.e. confusion, hunger, rage. For any game plot purposes where characters are to be mass effected by something similar, does not work well and/or requires mod permission.
MAKARAKARN: Erects a shield before one ally to repel one magical attack.
TETRAKARN: Erects a shield before one ally to repel one physical/gun attack.
TRIPLE DOWN: Light gun damage to multiple enemies. In game, the bullets won't penetrate and will instead function as blanks. Hurts Haru a bit to use.

PHANTOM THIEF β€” As a Phantom Thief, Haru is capable of feats normal humans aren't and can use weapons that typically require a level of training/skill.

ENHANCED DEXTERITY/STRENGTH: All Phantom Thieves, Noir included, are capable of jumping higher than the average human, are much more agile, and can take a mean punch (or blast). They are also capable of hiding among the shadows to go unnoticed, but for this to work they must be hidden behind something that affords them some form of shade/darkness. Does not work if light is shone on them, or if there is no wall/box/blockade of sort to hide behind.
COSTUME/PHANTOM THIEF HENSHIN: Can swap her own clothes out for her Phantom Thief outfit at will. Like a magical girl.
AXE: Haru's weapon of choice is a heavy axe.
GRENADE LAUNCHER: Haru's gun of choice is... a grenade launcher. It is limited in ammo, so Haru can only fire this a handful of times. It won't be capable of killing someone in game, but can do heavy damage if they are struck directly with it.

What Did Your Character Wish For? To move forward with her life and put her pain behind her. (She basically admits to doing so in Strikers.)
What Potion Did They Receive? Scarlet Potion.
Did They Drink It? Not yet.
If Yes, What Element/Animal? Earth. Her ability is based on soil improvement and helping vegetables and plants grow, which can hopefully involve into controlling plants to a degree eventually!

Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon, or who is someone they miss the most and why?
The person Haru misses the most is her father, Kunikazu Okumura. While Haru's unnamed mother is never touched upon, it is remarked by the general public that they feel sympathy for Kunikazu, who had to raise Haru as a single father. Once upon a time, before wealth and power corrupted him, Haru recalled a father who was doting and kind - a time where their relationship had not been strained by his heel-face-turn into the capitalistic monster he became. Haru's relationship with her father became complex in turn; she loved her father, and wanted the best for their relationship, but longed for a reality where she was not controlled by him, and he was kind to his employees and took greater accountability for his behaviour. While she had succeeded in changing his heart, the opportunity for Kunikazu to repent and rebuild a relationship with his daughter never had a chance to take place as he was murdered. More than anything, Haru wanted to save her father and work on their relationship, but instead was granted very little closure.

2. What are they most afraid of and why?
With many years of her life spent under the cold and controlling acts of her power-hungry father, or people who only praised or attempted to befriend her for their own purposes, Haru's fear has mainly been lack of control in her life, or losing her freedom altogether. When she is properly introduced in the game, it is discovered she is engaged to a politician's son, Sugimura, who is physically intimidating and abusive toward Haru. When confronted about why she won't speak to her family about this behaviour, she breaks down and insists it is futile as she would be expected to grovel for forgiveness instead. Her situation and reaction revealed Haru felt she had no ability to move forward in her life and had no say in her own future, and is willing to accept whatever the adults in her life want to do with her because she is effectively "powerless". The fear of having her life controlled again by someone else is a strong pain point for Haru, which is why she has done all she can to reclaim freedom.

3. What are their emotional, mental, and physical weaknesses and why?
Haru can't tolerate knowing she's being taken advantage of, but also will not stand for innocents being abused by others, especially by those with influence and power. Much of this stems from her personal experiences, but also watching her father and other wealthy folks do everything in their power to berate, control, and even harm people they perceive as under them.

While she continues to grow into a more assertive and confident young woman, Haru can still forget that she doesn't need to shoulder her burdens alone, and that it is okay to lean on the people who love her. Because of the complexity of her relationship with her father and his death, she isn't always forthright with whatever she may be feeling and can isolate herself, even if it is brief, as she is still unlearning fearful behaviours she developed in her younger years.

With regards to her physical weakness, Haru is 5'2" and words can only do so much. When against someone taller or physically stronger/assertive, Haru isn't able to defend herself. When Sugimura restrained her and yanked her around, Haru froze up, unable to free herself from his grip. Her stamina is also a big weakness as a Phantom Thief, as there is only so much shooting and axe-swinging someone can do before they need to rest for the night.

4. What discrepancies are there between their inner self (who they feel they are) and their outer self (how they present themselves to others)?
While she conveys a maturity some of her own peers lack at their age, that isn't to say Haru can't be naΓ―ve every now and then. She has grown more confident during her time with the Thieves, and she has a stronger perception of herself than she used to. She is kind, patient and a supportive friend who maintains rational reasoning in many situations, but she does forget that she grew up wanting for nothing material-wise and makes comments about things that nobody else would ever be able to afford without a second thought, like offering bodyguards to her friends, or renting out an entire theme park. Ann remarks Haru β€œthinks like a rich girl”, indicating Haru really has lived in a (very expensive) bubble most of her life.

5. What would make them happiest and why?
Her goal is to now get her college degree in business and agriculture, and open up a coffee shop that uses locally-grown products and ingredients. During her Confidant rank, Haru states she will set her own standards and wants to start a cafe similar to how her grandfather ran one that was well loved by its patrons. A place where people can build community and her food/drink can put a smile on people's faces would make Haru the happiest, as it means she's realized her dream.

6. What characteristics does someone need to have to be your character's ideal significant other?
Haru ultimately wants a supportive partner. Gifts and physical touch are nice, but she needs to feel that her partner has her back when she is faced with an obstacle or decision. Someone who is confident, kind, and patient, not just to her, but to others as well. A little mischievous streak is also welcome, as Haru has a bit of sadistic side to her that comes out in adventurous situations.

7. Would your character make a sacrifice to save someone else and why or why not?
Yes. Haru has repeatedly risked her life in taking on corrupt adults, knowing that there is always a chance she may be harmed badly, or worse. She has faced a god at one point, after her existence was erased from the public's cognition, knowing this god was extremely powerful and this fight was a matter of saving the world or die trying. Idealistic in a sense, Haru has a strong sense of justice and responsibility to others she can help.

8. What is one thing they would tell their younger self if they had the chance, or if your character is young, what is one thing they would want their older self to remember?
While Haru is technically a young adult these days, she would likely have told her younger self that there is hope even in the bleakest situations, to help comfort her younger self that felt she had no choice but to be a puppet for her own father.

9. When in dire circumstances does your character fight, flee, freeze or fawn and how does that look?
Haru is a little... freaky sometimes. She is always down to fight, especially if she has to protect someone or stop something she perceives as a threat. Occasionally, she may freeze up in what may be an overwhelming situation at first, but she is quick to snap back to reality, and take up arms.

10. Why did your character make the wish they did?
Haru remarks to Joker before they fight the Sapporo Monarch (Mariko Hyodo, an old family friend of Haru's) that she realizes she has been suppressing her memories, even the good ones, due to her father's death. She also realizes that losing her father has been affecting her more than she's been willing to admit. Haru's desire is to move forward in her life without being burdened by pain, so she can be a strong and supportive friend to those around her. She feels that if she is held back by her trauma, she cannot help herself or others in the way they need.
