[At the sudden double-take Chihaya's cheeks go pinker.]

Not at all! It's true, really.

[She laughs a little nervously.]

I didn't mean to take you by surprise! I just think this place wouldn't be as beautiful without you.

[SHE JUST KEEPS SPEAKING, HUH. She takes in a deep breath.]

Sorry, I don't know what's come over me.

[ How it lifts her heart to hear such sweet words though. ]

You're so sweet, Chihaya-san. I think you're beautiful, too. I'm a little envious of your golden locks, if I'm being honest.

[ She makes her way around the counter, her eyes never straying from Chihaya's face as she brings her her hot drink. ]

Are you?

[She sounds legitimately stunned at that admission, which is enough for her to not think much of how intently Haru is staring at her because if she did, she'd get flustered.]

You really shouldn't be. Your curls are lovely and frame your face so nicely. I've always wondered if they were soft to the touch.

[She says that a touch breathlessly, truly struck by the graceful way Haru moves around the counter to approach her.]

Oh! That makes me happy to hear!

[ She doesn't stop until she's invaded Chihaya's space. Assertive, but still graceful with the way she moves forward, her hand slipping beneath Chihaya's chin to gently cup it and pull it forward, dipping slightly so she can press soft lips to the other young woman.

A wave of heat sweeps her face, but she doesn't relent, shifting closer so she can cup Chihaya's face with both her hands. ]

[Oh!

It feels almost slow motion to her, the way the other girl moves into her space. Haru's hand, so smooth and warm, slides under her chin and there is no resistance from her as their lips connect. Chihaya's eyes flutter shut. She's so soft is the first thing on her mind as she leans into the kiss, feeling her cheeks burn. She's so pretty is the next as she settles into Haru's hands on her cheeks and stepping forward to fully be in her orbit.

She's never kissed another girl before and her experience with kissing guys isn't much better. What she lacks in experience she makes up for in tenderness as she raises a delicate hand to card through Haru's hair and then tucking soft curls behind her ear. Her heart is pounding out of her chest and she is fighting down a little smile as she presses more into the kiss.]

[ The delicate fingering of her hair and the considerate tuck so that Haru's face isn't hidden from Chihaya's makes her heart race. She can't hold back the giggle against their mouths, slightly breaking the kiss and bumping noses awkwardly.

But no sooner does she break the kiss does she press against Chihaya's soft lips again, her thumb padding her jawline tenderly. There's a sharp intake of breath, then an attempt to coax the other to part her lips at her own pace so Haru can explore further and enjoy the taste of her. ]
