I'm sorry, Yusuke-kun. These things that happened... it isn't fair.
Father wasn't always the way he was, though. He was kinder once upon a time. With the anniversary of his death, I found myself thinking if he hadn't passed, he might have become the person he used to be.

I am sorry that he was taken from you. My mother was taken from me, so prematurely that I can barely remember her. Even so, it is still painful sometimes.

But the painting of Sayuri in Leblanc, that is supposed to be her, if I remember well.
I do love that painting a lot. She's so gentle looking... with so much love in her eyes. It sort of makes me feel like the whole cafe is protected by her.

That painting was what inspired me to become an artist myself. Learning that it was her who was both artist, and subject, only pushed me further. I think she would be glad to know her work made you feel that way.

[ Why wouldn't it be? He has been carrying these for a while, though, so he'll come right in and set his bags on the floor before he removes his shoes. ]
