[Look, one of the things Kylo realised in the aftermath of Ronan's death was that he had nothing of the wealth of documented evidence that they mattered to each other that Ronan seemed to acquire with other important figures in his life.
Needless to say he'll take their soul-deep bond over a superficial scattering of instagram pictures any day, but it turns out he doesn't have to choose one or the other. He can have both.
